The Friends of the Baker County Library is a volunteer-led, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting and enhancing the services, programs, and facilities of the Baker County Library District in Oregon. As an active division of the Baker County Library Foundation, the Friends group plays a vital role in strengthening community engagement with the library.

Through book sales, fundraising events, and advocacy efforts, the Friends help provide critical support for projects such as:

  • Summer Reading programs for all ages
  • Special events and author visits
  • Technology and equipment upgrades
  • Library furnishings and beautification
  • Outreach and literacy initiatives

Get Involved
Whether you're passionate about reading, community service, or supporting lifelong learning, there's a place for you with the Friends! New members and volunteers are always welcome.

Meetings
The Friends meet quarterly at the Baker County Public Library, located at 2400 Resort Street, Baker City, Oregon. All meetings are open to the public.
